AB OBJECTIVE--Analyse the Behavior of Female Adolescents with sexual active
life, and about the possibilities of be contamined by HIV, and the
prevention. (Considering only the sexual risk). METHODS--Population:
Female Adolescents media age--17 years; middle-poor, urbans, living in
Sao Paulo. RESULTS--Statistics: 47 Adolescents, first sexual
contact--approximately 15 years, 68% exclusively with their mothers, 69%
non-working; 19% pregnants. The research was performed by four weeks, in
a Public Health Post of the Adolescent's Program of the health Secretary
of Sao Paulo Government, in 1993. RESULTS--The answer to the
questionnaires were: 73% associate the use of the condom to AIDS
prevention; 81% don't believe that their partners could infect them; 57%
don't believe in their partners about the post sexual behavior; 43%
aren't sure about the possibility of their partners use the condom; 22%
believe that have more risk of contagious in anal sex; 90% are afraid
about the AIDS (to be infected); 100% Think that's important to use
preventive actions; 60% hadn't use condom at the lost sexual act.
CONCLUSION--According to these data we can feel that the adolescent
population has special points of view about sex, AIDS, FIDELITY, care,
and we have to learn with them, to act together with them.
